ABSTRACT

This research examines the concept of deceit and infidelity, the main purpose is to create happy homes by revealing the already known facts about these two concepts; "infidelity and deceit" and brings to our knowledge several hidden facts. It examines two plays; ‘’ Midnight Hotel and Fiddlers On A Midnight Lark’’ by Femi Osofisan, the plays  satirizes the middle class and the political elite who lead morally decadent lives in a climate of a political rascality, the plays proffer solutions to the ills prevalent in our society. In a nutshell, the research methodology for this study is a literary method of research i.e it is qualitative content analysis. It concludes that couples could do away with infidelity when they work together to achieve their pursuits and deceit is also a concept that can be avoided.
